With Automatic Port Forward, you can take advantage of
UPnP-IGD/NAT-PMP compatible routers and easily access your
d2 Network 2 remotely. With the Dynamic IP integration you
can create your own Internet address for your NAS. Thanks to its
advanced file browser based in Ajaxplorer you can also easily
see, download and use your documents stored in your LaCie
d2 Network 2.
Eco Management
The LaCie d2 Network 2 helps you to reduce power
consumption by switching to idle mode (where the disk spins
off) after a determined inactivity time. Also, you can schedule
a deep sleep on/off mode according your needs. Thanks to
the Wake-on-LAN feature, the d2 Network 2 can be switched
back to operating mode from the client side. In addition, it
also integrates UPS support*** through its USB port to ensure
proper shutdown in case of power failure. On top of that, its
exclusive aluminum fanless heat sink design makes it your
ecological partner— it’s recyclable and ROHS-compliant.
